Celebrating Generations of Mentors and Mentees on Guru Purnima!
On 22nd July 2024, SETU had the incredible honour of hosting a Guru Purnima event that was nothing short of spectacular, the evening was a heartfelt tribute to the timeless bond between mentors (gurus) and mentees.🌟
The event was a beautiful reminder of how the values imparted by a guru can shape and guide a student throughout their entire life. From wisdom and knowledge to compassion and integrity, the lessons learned from a mentor are truly priceless.
Our esteemed convener and panel members (Professor Asha Rao, Prof Murali Sastry, Prof Vipul Bansal, Prof Rajesh Ramanathan, Dr. Pabudi Weerathunge and Dr. Geetika Verma) shared inspiring stories of their own gurus and the profound impact they’ve had on their journeys.
We appreciate the intriguing questions asked by members of our audience especially by Jasmine Batra, Dr Yoni Sharon, Prof Mrinal Bhave, A/Prof Raman Singh, Anil Advaney and Prof Ravi Shukla, their inquiries sparked fascinating and enlightening discussions.
Highlights of the evening included:
- Inspiring Speeches: Hearing from distinguished mentors and their mentees about the enduring influence of their relationships.
- Heartwarming Tributes: Honouring the legacy of past and present gurus who have dedicated their lives to teaching and guiding.
- Networking and Connection: Bringing together a community of like-minded individuals who value the power of mentorship.
The night was made even more memorable with a scrumptious dinner that followed, allowing for deeper connections and heartfelt conversations.
A massive thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this event. Your presence and participation truly made it special. Here’s to the mentors who light our paths and to the mentees who carry forward their legacy! 🌟🙏
